The bot has two modes, public and private, and public mode is enabled by default.
Public mode is where the bot is publicly accessible, and Private mode is where default bot commands are only accessible to the Broadcaster, Moderators, VIPs and Verified accounts.
Public Mode
Public mode is enabled by default, so you won’t need to change this unless you set your mode otherwise.

-settings mode public
Private Mode
Setting your channel to private mode applies only to normal default commands, and custom commands are accessible by all users not being affected from this mode.
